Sometimes, a prayer doesn’t have to be spoken for someone to answer it. Shadow was one of eight felines rescued from a single home, and they had surely prayed to be rescued. Their owner was an alleged “cat hoarder” and the eight cats had suffered in horrid living conditions. Who knows how long Shadow and his friends had lived like this – but thankfully, their silent pleas for help were heard. We named this stunning silver boy Shadow because when he first came to the sanctuary, we would only see fleeting glimpses of him. Shadow came from the darkest of places to live in light, warmth, and hope, and his life is truly a second chance at love… |
