Goldie had always been appreciated for her attractive golden color. But she was ridden too young, and the pressure on her immature back deformed her spine. This human mistake turned Goldie into a swayback who could no longer be ridden. With hay and feed costs reaching astronomical rates, caring for Goldie became expensive.
