Honey lived her life on a chain and is now ready to explore life!

Honey lived most of her life on a chain and is very eager to explore and experience all that a life free from tethering has to offer.  This sweet girl was rescued from a hoarding situation and is anxious to find her forever home where she can receive all of the love and care that she needs and deserves.

Honey is a very energetic, out-going husky/pit bull mix who is looking for an owner who loves to be very active. Honey is around 3 years old, and as her name implies, she is very sweet and loves to be around people. Honey would do best with someone who has previous experience with younger, active dogs, and is devoted to training. Honey likes to play with most dogs, including her roommate Roxie.  Honey is in a foster-to-adopt situation, so it looks like she has found her forever home!

Honey doesn’t understand the concept of personal space – I mean, why would you ever not want to be kissing and playing and running together?!  She’s such a sweet girl that just needs a good mom or dad figure to help her work out some of the “delicacies” of becoming a mannered dog :O)

Honey is such a fun dog! She absolutely LOVES to play with her roommate Roxie. I could watch them play for hours. But she also settles really nicely too and is actually really calm when she’s by herself. The best of both worlds!
