WeSNIP-Whatcom Education, Spay & Neuter Impact Program
Our Partners at WeSNIP take great pride in the work they do in Whatcom County and Skagit County. Sadly, they will no longer be using our Spay Station to move around the county in their efforts. They are still in operation, and we encourage you to use their services to keep the number of unwanted puppies and kittens in those counties to a minimum. Animals who end up in the shelters are often euthanized to make room for litters of puppies and kittens that are brought in. You can save lives, by being a responsible pet owner.
If you have need of their services, please contact them directly for an appointment. Their website has all of the information you will need to have your pet “fixed”.
WeSNIP will continue working Wednesdays and Thursdays in a Bellingham location (call for new location details). They will no longer be traveling in the Spay Station to other areas of the county.
Cats and dogs from Whatcom County are their priority. Skagit County pet owners can call and WeSNIP will evaluate on a case-by-case basis. Because of funding constraints, pets outside of Whatcom and Skagit counties will not be eligible.
The WeSNIP program is RESTRICTED to pet owners on significant public assistance (SSD/SSI, food stamps and others – Call or email to discuss). For owners not receiving public assistance, verification of very low income will now apply. — Please call to discuss.
Appointments now required. CALL BETWEEN 10 am and 2pm MONDAY through THURSDAY. 360-733-6549 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
