Blondie

Blondie is a sweet senior dog who needs a happy ending.

Blondie is an older dog, a little shy, but still very friendly.  She doesn’t need a lot of energy or work from her owner.  Just a little time and tenderness is all she needs to reward you with a lot of love.  She shared her previous home with fellow dachshunds, Duke and Peanut.  She’s a quiet, tolerant girl, with plenty of years left to share with a new family.

Blondie is in foster care, but still available for adoption.

Please consider adopting Blondie, and if you have room, one or both of her lifelong pals Peanut and Duke!

Blondie is doing so well in the People Barn! She’s have a blast running free downstairs – if we forget to put her and the other doxies in a kennel at night, then the party REALLY begins! Who knew 3 dogs under 25 pounds and over 15 years old could cause such commotion! They flip garbage bins, go through anything within their reach (meaning less than 3 feet off the ground…), and wipe out entire bags of biscuits like they never existed. And of course, when we come in the morning they are all passed out in bed like nothing happened. So cute :O)

This week Blondie and Peanut have been wearing matching Woolrich fleece berber vests – So cute! They’re red with a bear on the back and so fluffy these two almost look like tiny little bears waddling around :O)

Sweet little Blondie has been feeling kind of blue with the cold, nasty weather lately. Sweaters just aren’t as much comfort as the warmth of a loving lap. Please stop in and spend some time with this girl – she deserves all the hugs and kisses we can give her!

Peanut and Blondie have gone to a foster home! :O) I’m so happy for both of them!!!

I have a 4-year-old, two cats and an elderly German Shepherd. Would you recommend Blondie as a good addition to our home?
